“Best Daddy/Mummy in the World”

The techniques learnt in this class are fantastic for making cute caricatures for any occasion. It’s a great introduction to modelling – learning simple faces and making dressed models.  The Best Part ~ You’ll get to personalise your caricature by choosing a skin tone, eye and hair colour as well as the message written on the plaque.

This class is suitable for ages 11 years & upwards.

What you will learn:

• Creating a globe cake topper
• covering a board
• Creating a simple sugar caricature
• Modelling a face from scratch, working on the details of the face
• Sculpting a torso, arms, hands, legs and shoes
• Creating a blackboard, and writing with a chalkboard effect

Q How will the live class work?

The class will be held within a private Facebook group, where you will be able to join once you have purchased the class.  After purchase you will receive and email with a link to the group where you will be asked a couple of simple questions.  Please make sure you use the same email you have purchased with so we can process easily and accept you into the group.  Please allow 24 hours for acceptance as this need to be done manually.

Within you will find all the resources you need, and be all set to watch the live streams of this course.

Q.  What If I can’t make those Dates and Times:

That’s the beauty of booking this class, you don’t have to be there to watch the live streams as you can go back and watch this video as many times as you like when you have time.  The same goes for the Q&A’s. If you have any questions you can mention it within the group on the feed.

Q.  What do I need?

Once you have purchased the class and signed up to the Facebook group you will find a Pdf document containing all equipment, materials & information needed for the class.  If you prefer you can watch the class first before deciding which materials and equipment you will need.

Q.  Do I make my figures at the same time.

Its best to watch the online video first and then watch it again whilst you are creating. Sometimes it’s hard to do, and take in all the information at the same time. However, if you wish to make them at the same time you may do so. Just be advised that Christina will maintain a certain speed and it might be hard to keep up.
