This is a great class for beginners and professionals who would like to learn quick and simple techniques for creating realistic flowers in half the time. In this class, you’ll make Beautiful open Dog Roses & buds. Ranunculus, Kumquats, Blue Berries & Foliage.

•  How to make wired flowers and use polystyrene centres
•  How to use veiners and cutters to get clean finishes
•  Working with stamens and flower centres
•  How to frill edges with a ball tool
•  Different methods of adding dusting colours on your flowers
•  How to tape flower stems together
•  How to tape petals together
•  A quick simple way to make a floral arrangement
•  A quick simple way to cascade flowers down and around a cake

What will I take home?
You will go home with your creation, a certificate, course materials as well as new skills

What to bring:

Some lunch, hand sanitiser and a mask or face shield. Everything else is provided!
There may be bits of equipment you haven’t used in this class, but I have it to purchase should anyone like to. I take card and cash.

Public Transport:

If you are travelling by public transport the closest train station is Waltham Cross. Where you can take a cab or a bus. For Tubes, you’ll need to take the central line. Theydon Bois, you will need an Uber but Loughton has taxis waiting outside.

It is just a short 10-minute journey from all stations. Please always contact me as some days I can pick up and drop back to the station, this isn’t guaranteed due to childcare; it depends on the class start time and the day.

Driving:

Driving to your class couldn’t be any easier. Tasteful Cakes is situated just off the M25, Junction 26. There is enough room on the driveway or along the top of the road outside my house.

Doors Opening:

Doors will open 10 minutes before the class start time, please do not arrive earlier as I could be setting up the class. I really like to greet all my students personally and this allows me to do so.

Important Information:

Please make all personal arrangements before booking as we are unable to offer any refunds or course transfer should you decide to cancel or are unable to attend your course for any reason. If you feel your circumstances may change it is advised to look into purchasing ticket Insurance. It is the attendee’s responsibility to source a company that provides this service.

**COVID – 19**

If there is another national, or local lock down in you area and you are unable to attend the course a credit note will be given to use against another class or online tutorial at a later date.

Any students that have displayed symptoms, recently been abroad or in contact with someone who has travelled will not be permitted to attend the premises and to follow the stay at home guidance.

All students will be required to undertake a small questionnaire prior to attending.

You will be required to bring a face covering. Face coverings are mandatory throughout the class and you will be required to wear one at all times. This can be either a face mask or shield. Social distancing rules apply. You will be required to keep within your work area and keep your work area clean and tidy. There is plenty of hand sanitiser, anti bacterial/ anti viral spray, wipes and clean clothes.

Discount codes MUST be used at the time of purchasing a class via the website. Discounts will not be applied after the booking has been made.

Deposits and Final Payments:

If you choose to pay with a non-refundable deposit, the remaining balance is due 1 month prior to your course date. It is the responsibility of the person booking the course to make payment by the due date. If the final payment has not been paid 1 month before the class commences Tasteful Cakes Reserves the right to re-sell your seat. So please add this date to your diary.

Cancellations:

Tasteful Cakes reserves the right to cancel or change a course. In these circumstances, Tasteful Cakes will normally arrange an alternative date and offer students either a transfer to this date or, if this date is not convenient an alternative course. If neither is possible a full refund will be offered.
