Learn how to create this cute cake topper of Grandma May. Working on different mediums and supports for your models as well as learning the different facial features of an older character. Whether you are a beginner or professional you will greatly benefit from learning the new skills in this course.
Duration: Sunday 28th November, from 9.30 am – 4.30 pm

What you will learn:
• Learn how to create sugar models using polystyrene.
• Quantities to re-create this model the same every time – adapting to make a different caricature.
• How to make legs, feet and ballet shoes
• How to create a character in a long dress, with a shirt, jumper and detail apron
• Create arms and hands with supports to add the weight of an item
• Create an older face from scratch
• Create a cute, up in a bun hairstyle.
• Learn how to add glasses to your caricatures
Everything is included – Materials, equipment, refreshments and lunch.
What should I bring?
Just yourself, a notepad and an idea of the person you would like to make. Are you making someone in particular? Think about skin tone, eye and hair colour. I like to encourage you to create your own, but if it feels too daunting on the day feel free to make the one with me.

Knowing me you’ll leave well-watered and feed… A proud smile on your face, your fabulous creation, course materials, new skills and the confidence to be able to recreate this design again.

If there is another national, or local lockdown in your area, and you are unable to attend the course a credit note will be given to use against another class or online tutorial at a later date.

Deposits and Final Payments:
If you choose to pay with a non-refundable deposit, the remaining balance is due 1 month prior to your course date. It is the responsibility of the person booking the course to make payment by the due date. If the final payment has not been paid 1 month before the class commences Tasteful Cakes Reserves the right to re-sell your seat. So please add this date to your diary.
