What are Custom Wedding Cake Toppers made of?
Unless fondant wedding toppers are requested, all our wedding figurines are made from polymer clay. This certified non-toxic material is known for its durability and the ability to be shaped into intricate designs. Once baked, this will be like an ornament so it can be admired for many years to come. This also means it’s robust enough to ship worldwide!

These will include a couple, bride/s in a full-length dress and groom/s in trousers, simple poses such as holding hands, hugging etc. full attire, plaque, and personalised message, ie couple name and wedding date.

Wedding Topper Dimensions
The standard base for your figures is roughly 6.5 inches (17cm) tall by 4.5 inches (12cm) wide for the base and weighs roughly 400grams. Animals, additional characters, or large props will, of course, diameter wider.
Availability
Wedding cake toppers are usually made and dispatched 2-3 weeks before your wedding or occasion date. It’s best to check availability first as my diary fills up fast, especially for the summer months.
Please order ASAP to avoid disappointment, your wedding information will not be needed until the week I am making your topper. Click here to contact me.
Ordering Process
- Click here: ‘download the wedding topper fillable form’ and see all the details we will need. Once the order information is filled out email it to christina@tastefulcakes.co.uk Please note we don’t need the description part at this stage unless your wedding is within the next month. Or send me a message, including your name, location, mobile number, wedding date, design ideas, extras and include your pose.
- Once I have received your order request, I will email you back the price and estimated shipping date.
- Once I have received payment, your cake will be booked into the diary.
- I will send you a picture of the cake topper before it is baked to check you’re happy. From there I can make the necessary changes.
- It will then be baked and posted the following day.
